John Creek's successful solo swim for charity

On the 12th August 2012 – John Creek (aka Fatboy-swim) set off from Shakespeare beach next to Dover and swam for 17 hrs and 15 min touching down on the French coast in the pitch black. ” It is impossible” said Fatboy “to be able to thank everyone who I have met on my journey” “My wife has bourne as big a burden as I, and my family and friends have been there to support me at every turn, I cant find words to thank them enough”.

Arriving in Folkstone at 0230Hrs on the 13th August John was met by close family and friends who still had the energy to congratulate him on his return…..WELL DONE JOHN CREEK – THE CHANNEL SWIMMER.

As of 21st August 2012 the fund total is £3,186……and rising.....
