The British swimmer Hannah Young became a Channel Swimmer today, 5th August, completing her England to France swim in 15hrs 03mins (unratified). Hannah was with pilot Fred Mardle on Masterpiece. Congratulations Hannah from all at the CSA!

Congratulations to Hazel Killingbeck (British) who became our youngest Channel Swimmer this year. At just 16 years of age she completed her solo swim in a time of 15hrs 23mins (unratified). She set off at 04.17hrs this morning with her pilot Andy King on Louise Jane Charter landing in France at 19.40hrs. Well done on a huge feat Hazel!


Daniel Boardman

Congratulatons to Daniel Boardman who became the third Australian to swim the Channel this week.
Daniel set off from Samphire Hoe at 04:00 hrs this morning (5/8) with pilot Eric Hartley and crew Gary Watkins on 'Pathfinder' and landed at 15:24 hrs on the rocks at Cap Gris excellent swim time of 11 hrs 24 mins (to be ratified). Daniel received invaluable onboard support from fellow Australian, Terry Stewart.

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to 'Total Immersion in the English Channel' who attempted to set a CSA relay record today, 5th August, swimming the Channel in an amazing time of 7hrs 03mins (unratified) landing in France at 14.23hrs.  Unfortunately they did not quite beat the CSA record of 6hrs 52mins set by the US National Team in 1990. Well done to the whole relay team and to Reg Brickell their pilot on Viking Princess!

Well done to Shubham Vanmali from India who completed his Channel swim yesterday (4th August) in a time of 12hrs and 43mins (unratified). He set off at 03.25hrs on board Connemara and pilot Kevin Sherman completing his swim at 16.07hrs. Congratulations Shubham from all at the CSA.

Congratulations to Simon Dominguez from Australia who successfully swam the Channel on the 19th July with pilot Reg Brickell on board Viking Princess. His time was 13hours (unratified) starting his swim at 17.00hrs and landing at 06.00hrs on the 19th July. Well done Simon......

Australian, Lawrence Stubbs is one of our newest Channel Swimmers after successfully completing his solo swim in a time of 13 hrs and 55 mins (unratified). He was given excellent support by Elaine and Terry and made his landing at the base of the cliffs at Cap Blanc at 17:15 hrs yesterday (4/8/12) . Congratulations to the first of the 'Peggy Pieaters' who was on board 'Pathfinder' with Eric Hartley and Observer Keith Oiller.

Well done to Michael Miller from the USA who completed his solo Channel Swim yesterday (4th August) in a time of 15hrs 15mins (unratified). He set off at 03.35 landing at Sangette at 18.50. Michael's pilot was Andy King on board Lousie Jane Charters. Well done Michael from all at the CSA.

Congratulations to Kent Nelson who became a Channel Swimmer yesterday, 4th August swimming in an amazing time of 13hrs 42mins (unratified). What was even more astounding was his partner Leanne Markey swam in exactly the same time on the 21st July. Kent set off at 03.17 landing 16.59 at Cap Blanc Nez. His pilot was Stuart Gleeson on Sea Leopard. Well done Kent!
