Huge congratulations to Rod's Hut SC (Swiss/French) who successfully crossed the Channel yesterday landing at 22.59 in France. They set off on Masterpiece Charter with pilot Fred Mardle at 09.30 taking a total of 13hrs 29mins. Well done to Steve Petford, Patrick Cray, Jason West and their helper Duncan, not forgetting the crew and pilot.

Well done to the 4 person relay team (British) 'Sister Act' who successfully swam the Channel on the 22nd July in a time of 10hrs 08mins (unratified). Their swim was on board Viking Princess with pilot Reg Brickell. Congratulations to you all!

Congratulations to the 6 person mixed relay (British) 'Pennine Swimmers' who successfully crossed from England to France on the 21st July in a time of 14hrs 01min (unratified). Their pilot was Reg Brickell on Viking Princess. Well done to the whole team and crew!

Congratulations to Meghan Chisholm from Canada who successfully crossed from England to France in a time of 14hrs 39mins (unratified) on the 22nd July. She began her swim at 06.09 with her pilot Eric Hartley on Pathfinder landing in France with the sun setting at 20.48. Well done on a brilliant swim Meghan.

Congratulations to Gregg Bolsinger from the USA who has just completed his solo swim today, 22nd July in a time of 11hrs and 22mins (unratified). He began his swim at 05.57 landing in France by the Musee du Mur de l'Atlantique at 17.19 this evening. His pilot was Andy King on his vessel Louise Jane. Well done to Gregg and all the crew..

Huge congratulations to Leanne Markey who completed her solo swim in a time of 13hrs and 42mins yesterday on the 21st July. The pilot was Stuart Gleeson on Sea Leopard Charter. Well done!

Nasef Ahmed

A huge congratulations to Nasef Ahmed from Egypt who completed his solo swim yesterday. He had an amazing swim beginning at 03.57 and swam for 18hrs and 48mins (unratified) before landing near Wissant at 22.50. What made it even more amazing is that he is a double leg amputated above his knee and the other below! Amazing swim. His pilot was Fred Mardle on board Masterpiece. Well done to Nasef and the whole crew......

The British swimmer Sean Duffy completed his solo swim yesterday in a brilliant time of 12hrs 36mins (unratified). Sean wore a wetsuit due to medical reasons and despite feeling the cold he managed to soldier on. He began at 04.42 on the shores of Samphire Hoe landing on the sands near Wissant at 17.18. Congratulations to Sean from all at the CSA! His pilot was Kevin Sherman escorted by Connemara......well done to all the crew....

Congratulations to Marisa Schubert who successfully completed her solo swim yesterday (20th July) in a time of 14hrs 40mins (unratified). She was escorted by her pilot Peter Reed on Rowena setting off at 4.25am and landing in Wissant at 19.05. Well done Marisa and all the crew.......

On the 8th July, Michael Teys from Australia completed his solo swim in a time of 11hrs 22mins. He set off at 06.10 with pilot Peter Reed on board Rowena FE75 and landed in France at 17.32hrs. Well done Michael on a fantastic swim......
