Swim season change

Following a meeting between the Channel Swimming Association, Channel Crossing Association, Channel Swimming Pilotage Federation, Channel Swimming & Pilotage Services and Coastguards from France and the UK it has been agreed by all that the swim season will from now on be between 1st April and 31st October each year.

This is first and foremost to protect the safety and welfare of the swimmers and support craft involved. Swims outside of this period will not be accepted on the grounds of safety.

Julie Bradshaw Court Case

As your Chairman it gives me great pleasure to announce The Channel Swimming Association has been successful with its legal action against the previous swim secretary Julie Bradshaw and her company GetSet4Success.

I copy to the members the Court Order against Ms Bradshaw.

After this successful Court case against Ms Bradshaw and GetSet4Success, it is to be noted that all links to Ms Bradshaw and GetSet4Success have been cut and she has no input whatsoever into CSA affairs and its business. The CSA would like to confirm that it does not endorse any of Ms Bradshaw’s businesses.
